Lay Eucharistic Visitors

Lay Eucharistic Visitors (LEV) are lay persons authorized to take the consecrated elements following the Holy Eucharist to members of the congregation who, by reason of illness or infirmity, are unable to be present at the celebration. In pre-pandemic times we had a vital LEV ministry and we’re in the process of revitalizing it. LEVs are trained by and act under the direction of clergy, are licensed by the diocese and are required to complete CORD and Safe Church, Safe Communities (formerly Safeguarding God’s People) training. Visits generally take place in pairs of two LEVs. If you have questions, or feel a call to this ministry, please see Chris+.
