Reading Camp Update

Our St John’s reading camp returns July 17 and we are excited to have 20 campers signed up. Our tee shirt order is in (thanks to Colleen Anderson for her donation of the great design). We have stimulating field trips planned for each afternoon and on the last day we will present a demonstration for their families, showing how far their campers have come in just one week! We are scurrying to complete the safe church training for all our volunteers – some in person and some on line. We are grateful for those members of our congregation who have volunteered in many capacities. It truly does take a village! After church on July 16, we’ll be stuffing backpacks with school supplies and hope you’ll stop by to help. Please remember to pray for the success of this worthwhile ministry in the coming weeks.
