License to Serve: Renew by December 31, 2023 for Eucharistic Ministers, Formation Leaders, Lay Eucharistic Visitors & Vestry persons

Those licensed and who wish to remain licensed, must apply for and complete educational requirements to serve beyond December 31, 2023. Vestry persons, due to their leadership roles, are also required to complete educational requirements.

The training programs required for licensure are Safe Church, Safe Communities, offered on-line and takes about 3 hours to complete and is self-paced. A 6-hour in-person session is available at St. Matthew’s Charleston on November 4th, 9am-3pm. Please contact St. Matthew’s, 304 343-3837 to register for the in-person session or call diocesan house to register for the on-line version, 304.344.3597. The second is CORD Anti-Racism and Dismantling Racism is offered via Zoom on Saturday, December 16, 10am-12pm. This is the last opportunity to complete this training before December 31.
