Clean Up & Out Day
We cleaned up and cleaned out Saturday morning! Armed with trash bags and boxes - donuts and coffee - we took on the Women's and Men's Robing Rooms and the Crafts Supply Room. In addition, the Museum was cleared for painting.
Olive Meyer and Beth Marquart established keep, toss and question categories in the Women's Robing Room. Most of their work was related to the overwhelming stock of Taize candles, and of the 2000 or so votive candles kept 400 and passed the rest along to the Altar Guild.
Dan Faber and Ken Perrault worked in the Men's Robing Room. Fixing, organizing, dusting, vacuuming and tossing miscellaneous items - but leaving our extraordinary music library intact!
Mary Jo Thompson and Brian Hamra worked in the Craft Supply Room and made great headway.
Mary Fitzgerald and Diane Hendricks moved the museum displays to the J2A room temporarily, helping prepare the museum for plastering and painting.
