Celebrating Phyllis Atwood's Birthday

Recently, some members of the Barbara Knight Memorial Prayer Shawl Ministry went to visit Phyllis Atwood at English Garden in Teays Valley. We celebrated her ninety-fifth birthday with her favorite: cherry pie and ice cream!

Phyllis has been a member of St.John's for over 60 years. During that time, she’s sang in the choir, been a member of altar guild, helped make and care for the Fair Linens and much more. She was also one of the original members of the Shawl Ministry along with Barbara Knight, Mary Knighten, Mary Coburn and Janet Morris.

Phyllis loves to have visitors and she still has her sweet tooth.
