Vestry Action: Sprucing Up!

Among its work at the May Vestry meeting, your vestry voted to pursue creating a parking lot where St. Elizabeth House once stood. The Property Committee, led by Diane Hendricks, was given permission to gather proposals and bids, reporting back to the vestry for approval before the physical work begins.

The Property Committee also reported a bid for 1st and 2nd floor plastering and painting. The vestry accepted the bid and approved the work to be done, which will start mid-June. Among the work to be completed is 1st floor office suite, clergy vesting room, Sacristy, women’s choir room and bathroom, the library and hallways; 2nd floor Godly Play and toddler nursery; kids’ bathroom, hallways, J2A room, museum and stairwells.

As always, a copy of the vestry minutes is available once approved in the Church Office. The May meeting minutes will be approved at the June 14 meeting and available following that meeting.
