Women’s Retreat - May 2025
Women are invited to step away from daily life and immerse themselves in a weekend of reflection, fellowship, and spiritual renewal at Peterkin Camp & Conference Center in Romney, West Virginia, from May 1-4, 2025. This year’s retreat theme is “Discernment”, inspired by Psalm 119:105: “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
Through theme-inspired sessions, worship, art and wellness activities, and a hike to the falls, participants will explore ways to listen for God’s guidance in their lives. Worship and spiritual leadership will be provided by The Rev. Cheryl Winter and The Rev. Betsy Walker, with music led by Abby Cormack.
Open to all women ages 21 and older, the retreat is LGBTQ+ friendly and welcomes both first-time and returning attendees. Lodging options include shared rooms in Gravatt Lodge or youth lodges with accessible accommodations available. Meals and program resources are included in the cost, with a three-night stay at $250 and a two-night stay at $185. Registration is open until April 17. Participants can indicate dietary restrictions and lodging preferences upon registering. While not an unplugged retreat, attendees are encouraged to respect one another’s privacy and need for reflection.
