Acolyte Program

For those who have attended services at St. John’s throughout Lent, you likely have already noticed that the acolyte program has bolstered its ranks with some familiar faces. It brings me great joy to welcome longtime parishioners Kris Morris and Richard Miller as our first all-adult acolyte team. We are also incredibly blessed to have the Drennen siblings, Jim and Claire, join us as torchbearers with more involved roles soon to follow.

As the acolyte master, adding four new acolytes keeps me inspired and hopeful for the future of our church and the program. The juxtaposition between Kris and Richard and Jim and Claire is a prime example of the new culture we are trying to create. Acolytes of all ages are welcome and encouraged to join our team. For anyone that is interested, recruitment is still open. Contact Landon Palmer for more details at 304-561-7773.
